Winton’s Community Café
The Winton’s Community Café is our bright and sunny Café which we currently run on Monday to Friday 10.00 am – 1.30 pm, open to the public.
We have a friendly team of volunteers that offer a warm welcome, along with a range of drinks, snacks, sandwiches, cakes, and light lunches all at affordable prices. You can meet friends, or come alone to just relax for a while. There is never any rush, you can stay as long as you like. If you come regularly you will get to know some of the volunteers and other regular customers. In the warmer weather we have a beautiful garden where you can also enjoy your refreshments.
We have access and room for buggies, walkers, wheelchairs, mobility scooters and your children, friends and family. We are happy to heat up baby food and have a children’s menu with smaller portions for those with a smaller appetite. Lovely clean loos too with a baby change table.
Free Wi-Fi
All Winton House Centre public spaces have free guest Wi-Fi coverage, which also extends to parts of the garden.

Volunteering in Winton’s Community Café
If you would like to volunteer in our café do call in and have a chat with one of our staff. You will be given a full induction and can opt to work a regular 2 hour shift once a week or fortnight, or be on our reserve list to cover as and when. It’s not like a job where you can only have 4 weeks off a year…we cater for all lifestyles and there are morning, lunchtime and early afternoon shifts available. Winton House has a happy atmosphere and we would love you to be part of our team.
Full training and support is provided, including volunteers obtaining Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety.
