Our Garden has been awarded Gold in the 2024 Petersfield in Bloom Competition (in the Public Service Building/Area/Place of Worship category.)
The Garden at Winton House is a beautiful place, spacious and calm, and many people come here to relax, soak up the sun or just marvel at the beautiful plants and birds around the site.
The Garden is open to anyone during the week, though most people buy a drink or a sandwich at our cafe and relax outside.
The Garden is maintained by a team of volunteers whose dedication keep it “Blooming Marvellous”
Janet Conix, our volunteer who looks after the garden said, “It is really wonderful to be awarded this Gold Award. All of our volunteers work so hard – the garden is a labour of love and it is gratifying to see our work recognised, a huge thank you to my fellow volunteers Jenny, Anne, Denis, Penny and Mike”
