In June this year Winton House Centre commenced renovation work on its Grade II listed building. The work was extensive and included repairs to the sash windows, the entire building was cleaned and repaired where needed with the west wall being entirely re-rendered. Lead panels on the roof were replaced or movement joints added. The roof gully was re-lined and roof tiles replaced.

The entrance to Winton House had a wonderful face lift. The front door was removed, stripped, painted and re-hung and new lighting now illuminates from dawn to dusk.

The works were completed in August and on Thursday 25th September Winton House celebrated with Cllr Chris Paige officially cutting the ribbon of the renovated building.
After refreshments were served in Winton’s Community café and there was an opportunity to find out more about the work that has been carried out.
