On Tuesday 2nd July we celebrated our volunteers with a Strawberry Tea in the garden at Winton House Centre.

Winton House could not run without the support of so many wonderful people who give their time in the Community Café, in the office, looking after the garden and helping to run the other groups and activities held here: Memory Café, Active Dementia, Bingo and games afternoon to name but a few.

We were very lucky with the weather, no glorious sunshine but the rain held off as we enjoyed Pimms with sandwiches, a cream tea and cake. John Leete did a quiz for entertainment and so many tables were successful prizes had to be shared!

Our Chair, Charles Bevan, spoke and thanked the volunteers for their time and commitment and presented certificates to many for long service.
