Information Desk

Our Information Desk is manned by a team of friendly and helpful volunteers.

We are here to signpost you to organisations that can help you with your query or problem. The information we hold is specifically geared towards older people. You may want to know about local support groups, require help around the home, or find out about socialising opportunities in the Petersfield area.

Office Services & Equipment

Call in and get your photocopying done in our office. 5p per A4 sheet. Laminating, and a variety of different coloured paper and card is also available.

We have equipment for hire for your events; folding tables, projector screen, and exhibition boards. We also have wheelchairs for hire. Please Contact Us for further information.

Petersfield Voluntary Care Group

To book a car to take you to GP, hospital and other medical appointments, prescription collection or shopping for housebound. Contact our Information Desk.

Our team of volunteers is here to help you. This service is not just for the elderly but for anyone who finds themselves needing support. All drivers have been DBS checked.

Medical appointments

Each destination has a suggested donation, to cover expenses, which enables the service to cost less than a taxi, and is easier than using public transport especially if you find it difficult to walk. Your driver will pick you up, wait with you at the surgery or hospital, and bring you back to the door.

Prescriptions collections

These are collected from relevant pharmacists and delivered with a small requested donation.

Shopping

A weekly service where the volunteer will collect shopping list and cash/cheque and deliver. The service is reviewed every four weeks to ensure need.

Please note that we require at least 48 hours’ notice for all services.

This service is provided by the Petersfield Voluntary Care Group (PVCG), for which Winton House provides administrative support.

Age Concern Petersfield
