Winton House Centre (WHC) facilitated a day on Friday 28 October at Kings Arms Youth Project.

Rural Refugee Network invited Afghan and Syrian Families to attend.

The gathering of families was a huge success. The venue was perfect, thank you King Arms and it was great to see the children enjoying the games (Sheridan ACP) , arts and crafts (Jenny WHC) and activities.

The food, families brought a dish, showcasing recipes from Afghanistan and Syria – not to mention the British cake (Sarah WHC) – all beautifully presented, but also absolutely delicious.

Thank you to Age Concern Petersfield (ACP) for providing mini bus and volunteer driver.
