A day of bridge at Petersfield Community Centre on Monday 28 July.

Once again David Kidd organised the bridge players and Jenny Tickner Trustee of WHC the amazing lunch assisted by five WHC volunteer chefs who prepared the food – fresh salmon, coronation chicken and ten salads. Desserts included chocolate roulade and fresh fruit.

With a stupendous raffle, funds raised topped £700.00.

The funds raised will be used to purchase chairs for our community café.

We were joined by the Cllr Chris Paige, Town Mayor as Winton House is one of his charities we were delighted he was able to speak about volunteering in the community.

He then joined chairman Richard Phillips for the lunch.
