Winton House Center News Ticker

Keep Up To Date With Winton House

Winton House asked local artist Vicki Ostersen if she and her young artists could create something special for the Winton House Pop in Cafe. Vicki has worked with us before when she undertook an art project with Petersfield Infant School to create a beautiful art installation back in Easter this year. The result of the 'commision' was the Rainbow seen here in the photo. Winton House invited the children to a Rainbow Tea party. Winton House bakers excelled with their bakes, providing rainbow coloured cakes and the children received photos of their work signed by Winton House trustees and the Centre Manager. It was a wonderful cake-filled, rainbow-filled afternoon!

Come and enjoy a balmy September's Pop In Ploughman's lunch. For only £2.50.

Winton House Centre's House keeper, Ann, with our special of the month 'Ploughman's lunch.

Winton House Centre has won the Silver Medal for the Petersfield In Bloom 2018 with it's beautiful Community Garden. This was the silver medal for 'Public Service Building/Area/Places of Worship, accessible by the public.

A beautiful Rainbow in the Pop in Cafe

Vicki Osterson and her young artists have once again worked their magic and produced this beautiful rainbow collage. The artists are between 6 - 7 years old and Vicki has been working with them at the After School Art Club at Petersfield Infant School. Customers have remarked on how uplifting and pleasurable it is to drink their morning coffee and sample the freshly baked cakes on offer with the Rainbow backdrop.

A thank you to the lovely volunteers that keep the Winton House Centre show on the road.
The ongoing gorgeous weather guaranteed a beautiful afternoon in our gardens for our volunteers to down tools and enjoy a strawberry tea and Pimms.
The Centre is dependent on its volunteers - they staff our community pop in cafe and our information desk that supports the public in a variety of ways.
Our volunteers give their time, energy, bring their skills, experience, great humour and hearts that make Winton House a joyful place to be.
Thanks from Rachel, Centre Manager, Jim, Finance Administrator, Ann, House keeper and the Winton House trustees.
